Comment:
just try to do a soft funky mix but I couldn't really handled but hey I think Simon & Garfunkel are pretty funky sometimes ,) but I'm not Sure Miles are soft (title came from an answer Miles Davis gave when they ask him in the early seventies if he play jazz or rock)Feedback:
Really nice mix, great variety and a lot of favorites.
Leonard COHEN?! Yikes!;)
I love "As" - nice job, p.
Looks cool.
rockin' mix. It takes talent to sucessfully include Simon & Garfunkel and Q-Tip on the same CD.
P=what? Perfection?! I want this, I need this, I got to have this! Trade?
Leonard Cohen = yay! :) Looks nice; I think you got the vibe down just right.
Excellent!!!!!
I've been busy for a while and haven't visited the site for about a month, so I'm sorry if I've missed any of your mixes, old friend. This is a cracker, as usual.
Most excellent. Love the Yusef Lateef through Q-Tip stretch especially. Simon & Garfunkel may not be funky on their own, in this context, hell, Tiny Tim would be funky in this mix. Very cool Peter.
Good stuff, Peter.
Very cool & funky.
So much great stuff p!
good fun - I'm always a fan of a bit of Miles.
damn p, this is loaded to the hilt with genius stuff. nice one
This looks so good. I love that Stevie Wonder song. That plus Simon & Garfunkel puts a smile on my face.
Really beautiful rundown, here. To my shame I am JUST getting into Charles Mingus. And I'm gon a hunt down that Pam Grier track :)
