Comment:
* thanx to Nest Of Vipers for trax. Palare was a secret language used by Homo-Sexuals when Homo-sexuality was illegal and derived from Italian, Latin, Circus Slang and Yiddish. The best practicioner of this was the great comedian Kenneth Williams and is best heard on BBC's 'Round The Horne'. This is not meant as an over-view of gay culture in music and many of the artists on this mix are not gay. For anyone, gay or straight, who stumbles on this mix and takes offense, I apologize. I can assure you this is not meant.Feedback:
Good one, Dom.
Girlfriend!
...NO Elvis?!
wow!
Another great job. Perfect Scott Walker tune.
Nice one, hon!
No, uh, VILLAGE PEOPLE???
good job - very inspirational - I'm listening to Frankie Goes to Hollywood (Relax) at the moment after NVs 'painted love mix' that he posted this evening. Kind of appropriate, I'd say.
Brilliant, Dom - not often you see Round The Horne referred to! (And a very welcome reference it is too.) When I saw the title I thought, Morrissey? And there he is, indeed. Right next to Edwyn Collins, no less, which makes it doubly wonderful.
just silly slang, between my and the boys in my gang... makes me wanna put my chaps on and blow kisses. nicely wrought, dom.
most of the Village people guys were straight, just for you Thomas ;)
this is way cool

Very cool indeed!
Not too shabby. I'd like to hear this one too.
Boys keep swinging - boys always work it out! Great mix, Dom.
