Comment:
Another smiths mix for the same person, i was nearly asking to make it, since she's such a lovely person, and she seemed to enjoy The Smiths(se my other smiths mix).
This mix is a little more ambitious. Starting off with 'Barbarism' as an not to usual and maybe not such good opener, but she's a bass-player so i thought...and closing with first and interview bit where moz says that he doesn't know if the smiths have split up, and that there comes a time when you (in a band) just must "try something different, with somebody different" and into miserable lie, where morrissey realises what's happened.
Feedback:
I like the idea to put that interview excerpt at the end. Ace.
All great songs obviously, but I have to compliment you on your fine cover! Great use of negative space for the song listings and a nice font. Looks like an official Rough Trade release!
I actually think that starting off with "Barbarism..." ain't a bad idea at all - yes, it's long, but it does pack a punch...and it's absolutely perfect for a bass player. I like the momentum of the first half especially and the idea of the interview at the end is great - and Miserable Lie at the end? Goodness, never thought of that. But it works!
