my contribution for the June/July Mixies trade (www.mixies.org). i posted my first attempt last month, but originally it was a double CD, with the second disc containing the original versions of the first. after a few listens i realized that i didn't enjoy the flow of the covers disc as much as the flow of the originals disc, so i rehauled it for the trade. i scrapped the originals disc & rearranged the covers to achieve a higher level of listening pleasure. i also went ahead & added the ryan adams cover, it's a bit overused since the release of Love Is Hell, but it's truly magnificent (seeing as i don't dig on oasis & this version made me love the song) & it gave me the puppy dog eyes something fierce until i felt guilty for leaving it out in the first place.
