this was pretty difficult & at times i thought about saying "eff it." picking favorites from one of your top ten artists & then omitting half of them knowing that they wouldn't be warmly received anyhow (& you want the recipient of the mix to give them a fair shake before they write them off as something they won't like).the third & final rehashing of a mix of ryan songs for a friend who is anything but familiar with his work. the same friend is also anything but friendly as far as "Alt-country" (though i'm not one to pigeonhole an artist & consider ryan rock & roll more than anything) goes.in exchange he is making me a mix of songs by the meices (i think i've only heard two of their songs before). how he reacts to this ryan mix should be interesting, i just hope (as the title states) that he doesn't "puke or anything" ... the cover art is the cover of ryan's Demolition album which i scanned & tweaked.
