Comment:
More recent iTunes downloads. At the risk of offending purists, the Bud Powell makes a great lead-in to the Rod Stewart track.Feedback:
pretty good looking ;)
Looks sweet!
Very nice. And a cool cover, too.
Quite good through and through. Never heard George Jones do that particular song, but I'll bet he does a great version. As for the Rod Stewart track -- well, it's one of my favorite of his tunes (which, frankly, isn't saying a whole lot).
Yeah, you hit some favorites here, fer sure. 1 - 10 just slammin' ... and the Bud Powell tune is nothing short of exquisite sorrow and beauty.
This looks great all round - like the Old 97's and Freakwater especially.
I guess I'm one of those purists. Seems a bit sacrilegious to put Powell beside a lesser light like Stewart, but if you say it works, I will have to trust you.
lotsa lovely stuff.
This looks like another super mix, Mark!
Pret-ty cool, good sir.
Damn cool. Purist be damned.
Rock that porch man. Nice.
Good stuff Misfit...great opener, as well as the Black Keys and Lambchop....
Ditto Curtis..Purists be damned!
Very nice. Bud Powell works in any situation.
