I made this mix as part of a gift for some friends of mine that are getting married this weekend. I made him a Johnny Cash mix, but wasn't sure what to make for her. So I thought some strong female voices for be great for her. I hope she likes it. Title comes from a Renoir painting (she's an art teacher) that serves as the cover.

I really like the look of this, and have long been meaning to make one of these. I imagine mine would use a lot of similar artists, and I have to give you props for not taking some of the obvious tracks (For instance, with Traci Chapman using "Fast Car"). The track 6-10 stretch is a great nod to musical roots, good call on all those tracks. Cheers buddy! -Famous.
