Comment:

Ok, fine, not really glam -- many of the obvious purveyors of the form are omitted (Slade, Gary Glitter, Alice Cooper), and some of this is just pop/rock with a shiny metallic edge, but there's a fairly consistent mood of sleaze and bombast that led me to these particular tunes on a hot Sunday afternoon.

I like it, even if it's not 100% glammed. X's version of "Wild Thing" gets you 72 extra cool points from me. Nice job!

I'm gonna diagree with Lipstick Vogue and dock you a few points for X's "Wild Thing", but you've got so many extra points built up for the Shazam and my favorite Sweet song (Action) that you're still in the all-star list.Dale / ThisIsPop

Even if (as you said) this isn't all "glam", per se, it looks great.

Actually I'm quite glad you don't have Slade or Gary Glitter in there! The mix is perfect without them anyway - I like your description of the sound - and nice Mott The Hoople and Dolls picks.

Fine glam-ish mix. And I rather like the X inclusion.

A great mix utilizing some of the UNusual suspects....both Mott tracks are go, as well as the Shazam, etc. Viva glam!

Well, I'm late in giving accolades, but this is absolutely excellent! Agree completely w/Valis re: the Mott tracks, and w/Dale re: Sweet. Mighty fine!
