this is a compilation of my favorite minutemen and firehose tracks from my not-yet-complete collection. i really wanted "i felt like a gringo" on it but someone stole (i lost) my "buzz or howl under the influence of heat". the last track is from the "minuteflag" E.P. which featured both black flag and minutemen playing on all tracks, d.boon and henry share vocals on it. the title is from a minutemen song that isn't included. for those who don't know, firehose was the remaining members of minutemen with a new vocalist after their vocalist d.boon passed away. from what i hear they werent even planning on going on after his death but ed crawford left them a message on their answering machine and luckily they liked him enough to start a new band.
