Comment:

A personal soundtrack about the simple goings on of a young man. The opening credits roll (1). Our hero, a mid twenties young man, wakes up (2). He gets up and goes about his day, having his breakfast alone at The Sunset Grill(3). Later that day, our hero goes on a first date to an open micwith a fetching young lady(4). Weeks pass by, our hero and his lady start to fall in love(5). A night at the diner leads the couple back to our hero's apartmentfor a passionate night together(6).
Some days later, our hero gets accused of cheating and all hell breaks loose (7). The accusation is too much for their young relationship, and they break up(8). As it turns out, she's right- he is cheating, and we watch as he meets the other woman in a park(9). A month passes, having sorted things out, the couple re-unite(10),And for a while, things are good(11). Some time later, our hero discovers that his lady has been cheating all along, and promptly flips out(12). Our hero gets in his car and drives off angrily into bitterness
(13). He goes to the Sunset Grill, sitting alone, emotionally bruised (14), and reflects on everything he felt about his lady (15). He flashes back to the first date, remembering a song that played(16). Our hero calls an old flame, agrees to meet her at a party, and sees her as he walks in the door(17). At the party, he hits the bottle hard, and starts to get rather wildly drunk(18). He doesn't quit there and continues to get fucked-up drunk (19) Hooking up with his flame, he dances his cares away with a happy dance(20). The songs changes and the flame pulls him close and leans into a slow dance(21). The couple steal off to a bedroom, but before things get too far, he leaves out of guilt and regret(22). Bleary eyed, he slips into his cold, quiet apartment alone(23) as the hangover starts creeping in, so too does the self pity (24).Our hero blazes up a joint to help him sleep, but starts replaying everything as he slips off(25) until he finally falls asleep as the clock strikes 6AM(26).A few weeks later, he sees his lady in a bar, and sings karaoke angrily, referencing a movie they both love(27), but she smiles at his anger, and he melts, suddenly understanding what he has to do(28)At that same instant, he realizes that he never stopped loving her(29). They both confess their mistakes and foolishness, and the film ends as they leave together(30). **Thanks for reading, Cheers! -Famous.

Well done, and a nice little story. Kudos for the "Behind Blue Eyes" entry, especially in context.
