ok this is going to be an xmas gift for a friend/crush of mine who hasn't heard most of these bands. this is a work in progress, so please help me out! some of the songs have to stay for sentimental reasons (samples, rem, pixies) but aside from that i'm open to suggestions. since she is unfamiliar with indie music in general i'm trying to avoid anything too sloppy or whiny. thanks in advance!
