Comment:
Courtney Love is the band (Lois Maffeo, Patrick Maley), not the cultural phenomenon. Thanks to Valis for the Teenage Filmstars.Feedback:
Excellent!
This looks really, really great, Curtis.
Fantastic, Curtis! Love the Sonic Youth - Wilco stretch, and the handoff from The Beatles to Costello too. Also, I'm very glad that it's that Courtney Love you used! :)
Those that I know look fantastic - and probably one of my all time favourite Sabbath tracks as well! The Sweet into Beefheart is a leap that I like as well.
Yikes! I thought you'd lost me there with that first artist 'til I read your comments. Don't remember those NW coaster's sound, but everything else here looks boss. Always had a foundness for that last Ozzy fronted Sabbath LP.
This looks cool, of course. Isn't it neat that we live in a culture where Courtney Love the band and Courtney Love the cultural phenomenon are actually two separate items?
I'd like to hear some of your mixes sometime. At least on this one I am familiar with a majority of the artists.
Some killer cuts on this one, good sir. Especially love the Costello and SY tracks. Great stuff.
Thanks everyone.Rich, Courtney Love/Courtney Love may be an indicator of the end of civilisation, or at the very least, the end of ideas.
Wow. My articulation skills are no match for your amazing mixing mind!
Couldn't loathe you less Curtis, when you produce astounding mixes like this!
NO YOU DO!!!!! cos I recognize yr pattern. The Next Mix or so will contain absolutely nothing I'll know and I'll end up looking like a musical DUNCE. An excellent looking mix Curtis.
Curtis, this is excellent! Love the Hopper & Kramer to Minutemen a lot -- very clever! Great job!

For 25 years I've cooked for you, swept for you, screwed for you. The seat's always up when you take a wizz, if that's not loathing wot is...? *

really great mix, Curtis. I love that crazy Beefheart tune, and the john Fahey closer is tremendous.

Great stuff Curbruiner! (Welcome, as always.)
Great stuff - I seriously dig the closing track.
Great trifecta with Ian Hunter into Sweet into Beefheart - all great choices - and then you top it off with Flipper!!! And one of my fave Costello picks!!!
