Comment:
As usual, culled from the newest songs I've either discovered or revived. I noticed a prevalent country theme running through much of it, too, which is interesting since I generally avoid that type of music. Parts of the mix bubble over with joy and give me this uplifting outlook on life that makes me want to dance and smile for the future at the same time (The Raveonettes, Beatles, Green Day, Apples in Stereo, Rolling Stones), while other parts carry a wistful sorrow (Eels obviously, Elvis, George Harrison, O.C.M.S.), and that's pretty much how my mixes ALWAYS turn out, if not entirely bent towards one of those 2 moods. Anyway, I'm enjoying it :)Feedback:
looks great
When I hear that Stones song it always makes me think of Built to Spill's "You Were Right".
Didn't see it earlier, but I really dig this mix!
my mixes always do that - start happy, get overexcited, end sad. what an allegory for our own emotions. ps. i am still marvelling at your most ecclectic taste. pps. i have a dead bird in my house. do i leave it there all day?
