Comment:
A contiuation of the Dog day Morning Mix...except by now you've gotten out of the house and are somewhat irritable by all the rude and stupid people in the city...the heat is getting to you...you feel like cutting people off...letting doors swing shut...and you want nothing more than a good rainstorm to bring an end to the unrelenting heat. This running order make look odd at first glance, but trust me- it works. Special thanks to fellow mixer Lipstick Vogue for giving me The Hippos track. Cheers! -FamousFeedback:
'Ride' is a cool opener! It also sets a mood that makes you think that this will be a loud obnoxious trip into music lane! Followed by the classic VR song and even more classic GnR song... into Pulp? Now that throws me! Such a different style of music - so British! I always try and put Bowie close to Pulp on mixes they seem to belong together - but I see you dropped Bowie until the final 'ho-rah!' which is cool too! I can't think of the Zeppelin song without the begining guitar lick going through my head! Nice!
Very good mixture of genres, especially proud of your Pulp inclusion... Yay Pulp!... ps> even you know that the clash didn't originally do "I Fought the Law"... minus 76 points.
