Comment:

We took the kids to the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Sunday. I was holding our two-year-old through most of our visit. I would try to find paintings with birds or dogs or other objects that he would recognize--we made sort of a game of it and he was having a good time. We saw a number of sculptures of people and, in most cases, they were not wearing shoes, which he found fascinating. This became a game as well--we'd go from sculpture to sculpture, checking out the feet. If they were shoeless (and they usually were), I'd say "No shoes." He'd then say "No shoes" and laugh a hearty laugh that would fill up whatever gallery we were in. Fortunately,I don't think anyone minded his laughter.

Anyway, hence the title, "No shoes!"
