For Jen on our second anniversary next week. I realize that a lot of these songs were on previous mixes for her, but they were her favorites on those mixes... plus the new tracks were great additions... she'll love it. A few of the songs are even from her record collection (Jeff Buckley, the Ronettes, Lloyd Cole). There will also be a special, 90-minute cassette version with bonus tracks for our lengthy roadtrip at the end of next month. Title from the Graham Parker song.

This mix contains many of my favorite songs as well. Wow, what a great job. If I were married to you (if that were even legal), and I received this, I would weep my eyes out. In a good way, of course.

Lotsa nifty stuff, particularly the dB's track (which I've used on mixes for my wife as well). It's nice that at 2 years you can still make mixes for her. With my 13th anniversary coming up next week (18th if you count the pre-marriage years), I'm far more likely to draw a "stop wasting so much time playing with your cd burner and spend some time with your wife" comment.

This is really, really lovely Rob - I'm sure she'll love it. The M. Ward pick is great (nice to see him on a mix), as is Chris Knox and Wainwright. I agree with bear wholeheartedle about the SFA track! And congratulations, of course! :)
