Comment:

The "double shot" of the Knack is intentional--it's kind of hard to break those songs up. The double shot of Aaron Neville was an accident--I didn't get back to the turntable in time before the second track started. The title was suggested by my wife as we drove back home to Phoenixville the other night. I saw k.d. lang live once. She performed Roy Orbison's "Crying" early-to-midway through the show, then jokingly said "Thank you, good night," as if to acknowledge that she wasn't going to top her showstopping performance of that song. That's kind of how I feel about leading this mix off with "Crying." k.d. lang wound up encoring with "What's New Pussycat," a very clever choice on her part.

nice fun mix of good driving music. Plus the Aaron Neville is a good coast into the driveway. ;-)
