Comment:
A total rip-off of 12vman's The League Of Extraordinary Mixers
As outta space so incitfully pointed out on hemizen's A Day In The Life Of AOTM: "okay, this site really is incestuous....."
For those of you included who only trade in cassettes (you know who you are), I could only use tracks I had available to me on other discs; these may not necessarily have been the songs I would have chosen to represent you.
Feedback:
I'm honored to be ripped off by one so prolific and expert in the mixing arts - and, dare I say you've chosen the perfect song to represent my general state of mind - fan-damn-tastic, Cruella.
b/t/w - trade?
Wonderful! Incestuous? Damn straight sister...
always good to see that all the trades leads to new/more great music, maybe I can be on the next one ?
This is really great, Cruella. I must get around to doing something similar soon. Lots of my favourite mixers and favourite tracks here, and thanks for the inclusion!
C'est magnifique. I'm striving to make the subs. bench!
I love to see mixes like this. Nice job!
Absolutely fantastic! Wonderful mix and great tribute.
Nice. Thanks for the props.
Thanks for the mention. Very cool mix. The best part about this site is finding new music from the folks here with good taste.
Excellent assortment of tracks and mixers! Thanks for including me!
The Gayest Mix In Town from the Gayest Mixer apres moi...seriously good stuff and a worthy succesor to The Mackarel Mixes..FOR CHRISSAKES, SOMEONE GIVE CRUELLA MIX OF THE WEEK!!!!!!
Yes, this is a nice assortment of tunes from some of my favorite mixers. It represents part of what this site is about -- exposing others to music that we might never hear otherwise. For example, I probably would never have heard that excellent Steff track if it wasn't for Thom.
Excellent mix & a great gesture :)
This is really cool, and, as Moe says, through this site and the trades I've made, I have discovered some excellent music I might never have heard (of) otherwise. By the way, wanna trade? :)
I see a lot of my all-time faves on here, I'm talking mixers as well as tunes. I'm honored to be here among the creme de la creme, -- & you know if I could ever manage to do a compilation like this, you'd be at the top of the track list!
This mix is masterfully done and nicely compiled. The trax fit so well together, it is amazing that the tunes come from such diverse sources. I said it before hearing it - and I'll say it again now that I have - Fan-damn-tastic!
This most certainly looks like about sixteen barrels of ass-shaking fun (and I'm not just saying this cuz I'm represented with three tracks)! All the right guys' ('n grrrls') names are up on that track list, and it's a damn honor to be among them. In short: another exauisitely fine mix from my favorite Serious of Shnakes. Mothers with Attitude, indeed!!!
OK, I know I'm getting greedy - but this looks awesome - so if you could put this on the pile, it would be VERY well recieved - it's a desert here! I need an oasis. It'll take some time, but one is coming specially for you. Loads I love here - esp. Dusty in bed, and loads I would love to know - I always knew that Dom made great mixes, but he has chosen some sexy tracks (but I'm not going to tell him). C, this looks awe (double) some.
Wow! Marlene is one hellofa woman. Now she would have been a challenge . . . oh, but I digress. My dearest Cruella, this may (in your words) be a rip-off, but it is a fantastic listen. So many talentes AOTMers out there! BTW, I've got another version of the Frank pick that I will send you - I'm told that it is sexier (doesn't do much in that department for me) Many thanks.
