Comment:

Rock Is Dead - Sean probably didn't like Marilyn Manson, but then, he doesn't get a say-s0 anymore, does he? It's obnoxious, rockin' and a little glam...just like Sean.

What's Good - "...what life's like without you."

Search & Destroy - Pretty self explanatory.

Angry Inch - Again, it fuckin' rocks, and it's glam.

Death Or Glory - This is in here for two reasons. The obvious one is the title. The less obvious one is this: One of the last times I saw Sean, I told him how my 6-year old nephew was playing the Clash on his little kid-size electric guitar. Sean immediately insisted on giving me his first-pressing copy of London Calling to turn the kid on to. The guy couldn't give you the shirt off his back fast enough.

Cure For Pain - "I propose a toast/to my self-control/you see it crawling, helpless on the floor."

Son Of Sam - This is in here for the guitar crescendo, plus Elliott Smith died too young, too.

Wig in A Box - "All because of you! All because of you! All because of YOU!"

(I'll Love You) Until The End Of The World - "In this town full of men with big mouths and no guts" ...Sean stood out.

Du Hast - Ja. Is gut.

Real Wild Child - This one's actually dedicated to the World's Most Obnoxious Chihuahua. (You know who you are.)

Tear Me Down - Just try it.

Junk Bond Trader - Somehow I think he would've identified with the outlaw ethos here, if not the suits.

Lost In The Supermarket - The story behind this one comes from Kelly: "About three or four weeks ago Seanie drove his bike inside the Cala foods store on Haight Street at 1 am and did a burn-out for his good friend Scot's birthday present. The store was filled with so much smoke that they had to shut it down for a few hours. He left a big, black hole in the tiles. The next day he went in and apologized and left his Cala club card for an ID. Scot was going to be fired for that, but when they found out about Sean they figured that was punishment enough for anyone. They have even been giving us free flowers for Sean's house."

I think we'll all look at Cala Foods on Haight Street a little differently now.

Lust For Life - You figure it out.

Calling All Angels - Hey, this is a requiem, there has to be some sad shit on here somewhere.

Miles Davis' Funeral - Mark Sandman is another one we lost too soon.

Bye - bye!

RIP Amen

This mix has a lot of energy, and it seems an honorable tribute to someone who obviously lived life so fully.
