the recipient of this mix requested a bunch of stuff from my neck of the woods, so i whipped up this mix of mostly-recent (the oldest thing here is from 1993), mostly-obscure (the closest that anything here comes to being famous is that the jann arden track is a neil young cover) canadian stuff. i tried to do (what i think of as) a definitive indie-canadian mix about a year-and-a-half ago and to my surprise i found that it already needed updating.
