To be honest, I can't think of anything worse than Metallica covering the ANL's swearathon extraordinaire. But then again, I can't think of anything much better than "Do It Clean". But where is little Kylie and her petite derriere?

Dom, you're a maniac! Keith Jarrett to the Pixies! Kitty Wells to the Four Tops! Gene Pitney to Jah Wobble! (That ain't right!) Plus great tunes by Morricone and Tito, great shots by Feargal Sharkey and Lou Rawls, and, of course, the incomparable Plugz!!!!! This is absolutely amazing!

Great stuff. Love the Plugz into my fave song by the Auteurs. And a later-era Pitney song to boot!

As they've all so eloquently said my Gay Amigo... Except for the Kylie thing, not missing her AT ALL.

The Plugz! One of the great LA bands from the late 70's. I was living there in 79, and saw them 2 or 3 times at the club scene, then flourishing in Chinatown (after dark, when tourists had left and restaurants turned into music venues). They opened for X a couple of times.

Wow. Wow. This is brilliant, as ever. And proves that you CAN move from Bauhaus to the Four Tops in two moves or less! Love the Pitney and Basement Jaxx too.
