Comment:

i sure loved using that marry me jane song as an opener, didn't i? the other thing i notice about this mix (made in late-2001) is the frequent use of demo/alternate versions of songs. i don't think this was intentional--i just really like these versions of "your house" and "i wanna be your boyfriend" better than the album ones. "stranger in the house," too, is a countrified version of a song that elvis costello has recored a few times and while i don't know which version gets considered the original, i like this one best.
