Comment:

For the hell of it. This was supposed to be a quickly dashed-off mix of stuff that's been in my head for various reasons, but wound up taking more time than I'd like to admit. The results, however, flow very well and make for an interesting listen. Thanks once again to lo-fi for the Sonny Sharrock piece. Title from the Libertines song.

Great one two punch to open the disc with - and then to follow it up with Prisoshake - fabulous. And that Damned cut is killer, whenever I hit it on a mix I end up hitting the repeat button a few times. Another grand mix.

Fantastic, as usual, Rob. Really dig the Devo, James, Dolls, Split Enz and R.E.M. tracks a bunch. (especialy "Flowers of Guatemala" a sentimental favorite of mine) Oh yeah, Sharrock->Streets kills. Great mix.

Dale is absolutely right about that one-two punch of an opening -- excellent! "Cold Sweat" to "Trash" is inspired, and that Replacements song has been bouncing around in my noggin for a few days, too. This is very good!

Excellent stuff here, as ever! Like the Brian Eno - have been recently getting into Daniel Lanois - and the Richard Hell. Mixes for the hell of it are always fun, I find.
