Comment:
More Tales From The Lodge! Shiver.Feedback:
Sinister concoction. The Harry Nilsson -> Beefheart -> Bennett potion in particular.
One of my fav Dylan cover versions ever by Elvis. More essential Beefheart "You used me like an ashtray heart". Also brilliant Kate Bush, Dandy Livingstone and Tom Waits. Great concoction all round.
Echoing comments of previous 2 gents + Spiritualised & of course mad Mr.Cope!
Nice. Especially the Wilson Picket/Warren Smith combo and the Triffids and Beefheart picks.
Lubbly jubbly! Some excellent choices here and the sequencing is pretty clever too. Good job
Another stellar effort, Dom. Agreed w/Frenchy about the Cope pick. Always good to see him on a mix.
another great one, pretty soon you move fast as Curtis
To quote whoever it was, these are "scary motherf***rs, like a Stevie King flick." Clever sequencing on the titles, too!
great stuff - really great
Great! i love Clinic, Spiritualized and Joy Division picks.
My God, Dom, but this is great! Absolutely stunningly clever and wonderfully varied. Your mixes amaze me!
Yes, really great stuff, too many to list.
A double bill! Ace.
Another fine mix.
Fantastic - I, too, am always enthusiastic about Mr. Cope. Love the Joy Division too (nice link from the Kraftwerk) and the William Bell too. Nice!
Nice.
Just now stumbled across this gem. I would very much like to hear the Triffids track (and the rest, of course)...
