That Dylan album is my favorite of the new millenium (to date), and that David Byrne cut is a lot of fun, too! Once again, a lot of good stuff to offer on this one!

That Steve Earle song ought to be Kerry's campaign slogan! Very nice, indeed. Love it lots.

I love that Richard Thompson song, but must admit that I'm not all that big on these folks' current output (that R.E.M. song especially makes me cringe).

Saw Mr. Young perform Greendale last year in Paris & it blew me away! Just got the DVD too but God knows when I'll find a suitable time to watch it. Must check ot the Al Green album soon! This one's makin' me feel my age George, nice one all the same.

Hmm, I was thinking, are all these old guys still alive? when I realized that some of them aren't. Still making live music, though!

Cool! What a great idea for a mix - and all artists who've managed to retain respect while carrying on making music. Like the Costello, and that whole Patti Smith album is great.

Loads of great stuff, especially your picks from Costello and Neil Finn. That David Byrne album actually keeps getting better as the years go on.
