Comment:

michael made a tape for me recently that tried to include a big portion of artists/songs that were unknown to me. he BASICALLY succeeded I GUESS, but i wanted to see if i could one-up him at least in the unheard songs department.

one-upping while still managing to be sweet and an enjoyable end-of-summer beginning-of-college mix. at least, i think so. i really love every single song on this. seriously.

(also, there is basically two seconds of empty space at the end of each side... no one could ever fathom how much this pleases me. additionally: even song numbers? WHEN DID I GET SO GOOD.)

I think I've heard precisely one song on this! BTW, am very impressed by the even song numbers and two seconds of silence, something I have yet to achieve. Good stuff...

Some great stuff on this mix (concretes, jessica fletchers, thrills). It's been awhile since I've made a cassette mix, but I know that great feeling you get when the last song ends several seconds before the tape runs out. And yes, having the same number of songs on each side is an added bonus!
