Comment:
It's been three years now that I have been living in England, so I thought it was time for another volume in this series (please see part one for the full details), and I was happy to be able to actually include "Jerusalem" on this one.Feedback:
Very great. I love the idea of opening a mix with the Shadows - and then into the Who. No complaints here.
Aside from the Moody Blues, this is really great. :-)
And did those feet in ancient times...hope yr enjoying it over here...nice mix!
Were at opposite sides of the spectrum here Jana, you moved to & I escaped from Angleterre! That opener is where it all started for me, I can practically have memories of rockin' in me pram to Apache!
All nice (even though they're not personal faves, Rob's a little hard on the Moody Blues). Love the picks from Kirsty and the Shadows. -Dale
Yeah, the Shadows are a great way to kick off a mix! Some fine fine picks here, as usual!
Oh, worth it for that B&S song, but lots of other good things...
Jerusalem! The vicar at the church where I got married wouldn't allow us this at our wedding - too political apparently. Anyway it is a great ending to a great mix. Hope you are enjoying life in Blighty.
smells like vineager chips and a pint of bitter to me
Looks great.
Wonderful. Really love the Nick Drake through Belle and Sebastian stretch.
This is excellent!
so many great tracks here, Jana. Love kirsty McColl, John Martyn and Elvis C especially
Looks great, Jana!
Looks real good... great opener.
Looks great Jana, solid stuff---start-to-finish.
Yeah, England's alright, I guess. :) This looks really lovely - I have a bit of a weakness for The Shadows, and I love how you end the mix. You should come to Scotland too!!
