Mix For Cruella (Nest Of Vipers) !Feedback:
Yum - me !!! Beyond kewl!!
Thumbs up Mr Dom. I love the love the mini-threads you have seemlessly woven. Chickens into Golden Arm into frankfurters and it makes perfect sense! And the Junkie-Ali baba suite is also noted and appreciated. Great T-Rex pick and the mix I'm playing in my car today has the same Ants song. -Dale
Hmmm...ambient cave-dweller though I am, I still recognize more than several names herein. Nice one [again] Mr. Dom.
Nice.
There's nothing wrong with Cher! Totally cool.
. . . a lot of effort goes into your mixes . . . like thisispop says, I love the mini-threads you have seemlessly woven. And the Meters - Wow! Funky.
Great (and intriguing) variety!
ella singin' soul are so great, early ants are so underrated and a T.rex and John Holt are always nice on a mix
Seemingly Dom can seemlessly thread that needle from Chickentown to Ali Baba's garden.
As long as the Man with the Golden Touch keeps on making mixes, the Cassette will never die!

Very cool (natch). The Petula Clark through Dusty Springfield is seems especially swell to my mind.
Ach, "is," "seems," whatever...
superb. Love the dandys, t-rex, john cooper clarke and ian dury picks especially
I think the way you sequenced the tracks by the titles' similarity or relativity is great and a lot of great tracks pop up here and there! Very clever indeed! Superb mix!
Dude! Can't wait to hear it!
I think the Gene Marshall track sums up Nest of Vipers perfectly! Good job for a great mixer!
My favourite Dusty track, plus Mark Murphy...fantastic!
This is awesome! Cruella is one lucky little lady!
Excellent stuff as ever, Dom!! Love the ending (absolutely love the Fiery Furnaces at the minute) - and the whole of that side is really great, even though I don't really like The Dandy Warhols. And major kudos for the inclusion of Orange Juice :)
Impeccably done, as always!
More than a few chestnuts there! Nice train of thought.
Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you on this one... Love it. (I'm not sure why valis thinks thinks that Marshall track sums me up; guess I'll have to take that up with him.)
Mostly, thanks for including Tim Rose reading the piece you wrote; stunning.
