Comment:

Title's got nothing to do with the shit band named Autumn War by the way! Autumn & War feature heavily in my thoughts at the moment so rattled this one off. Some good cover versions amongst this (though My Girl isn't "The My Girl" of course. Demis warbling his head off on track #17 he, he, what more could you ask for?

September is still summer out here in the land of the endless summer, but I get the autumnal mood here. Is that Paul Weller doing the old Carpenter's song???!?? That's hard for me to imagine.

Yeh Joey it is indeed Mr. Weller pulling off a blinder with that Carpenters cover, it's off his new album - my Mrs. is a die hard fan and would so the new album has been eagerly awaited a chez moi for sometime now!

I'm a little late in commenting here (seems to be a recurring theme of late!) - this looks lovely, as always. Like the Decemberists track and I'm eager to hear the new Paul Weller, mostly because I just don't know what to expect!! Tim Buckley is always great on a mix, and nice Shins pick too. Hell, I like it all.
