Comment:
OK so here it is a mix that's been bouncin' around in my head for about a year now. The mix is dedicated:inspired by Russel Banks's excellent book 'Rule Of The Bone.' Almost all the artists or tracks are name dropped in the book, those not in the book just seem to reflect the storyline. If you've not read the book do,yourself a favour & do so b4 the movie is rleased (Hollywood is currently doing their best to no doubt crucify yet another great book) Hope you enjoy & boy am I glad to have finished this project!Feedback:
Don't know the book, but I know there are lots of fab songs here!
Very interesting....I'm intrigued by the big reggae block towards the end...Might have to take some time to actually read the book...
Very cool.
I'll check in on said book...cool mix!
This is great!! I remember reading the book about four years ago. I remember the storyline and vague details of the novel like sex on a washing machine and aspects of the jamaican marijuana crops. Great rock, great reggae, great mix.
Vey appealing mix and I will have to read the book. Isn't it always a relief to finally finish an intense mix?
awesome stuff, my friend. Really great reggae pix, especially burning spear and jimmy cliff.
This looks great.
nice job, man. it's an excellent mix that complements an excellent book!
