Comment:

This mix was made six months ago but I felt like
this is a good time to post it with Columbus Day coming soon. The 3rd, 22nd and 28th songs were
suggested to me by Rockin' Jim who has an FM radio show Monday nights at 8:30pm to Midnight (pacific) which you can hear on the net via http://www.kpoo.com

Wow, this brings back a lot of memories from staying at my nonna's house as a kid.

Is there any way I could trouble you for a copy?

molto buon! eccellente! fantastico!
I made a "cassetto italiano" once but it fell far short of this - when we get to trading, ci= F uno che desidero.
I must admit tracks 3 & 25 puzzle me -- "never on Sunday" has pretty strong Greek, not Italian, associations for me -- but I'm sure it makes musical sense when listening. Great finish w/ Mario Lanza !

Thanks for the positive comments guys... I liked track 3 because it was pretty operatic sounding and about a street as was the song after it (it was also sung by an Italian who's real name was Vito Farinola). I also believed that the 25th track was of Greek origin but it sounded good with the songs before and after it and again was sung by an Italian (her real name was Concetta Rosa Maria Franconero).
