Comment:

A sequel to the first Songs From The Film, one of my personal faves. While that imaginary soundtrack was a widely varying collection (though all aimed at tracing a rambling travelogue through urban and rural sprawl), this one is aimed at a more consistent feel, meandering backroads with just a hint of menace. Largely pastoral, but with the occasional psychedelic or distorted edge. Trust me, it works. (I tried using the audio sample option, but looks like the links didn't work....)

Very cool. Lots of fine picks including what is perhaps my favorite YLT song which includes what is perhaps my favorite guitar break.

Very nice, Marc. That's a great Neil Young tune, and you can't go wrong with the Feelies!

I think the Wilco, Spirit and Feelies picks work wonderfully well for this - so, of course, do your other picks, but those really stand out for me. Lovely concept too, of course, and generally just really well executed.

I love the eclecticism of the mix, esp. Zeppelin backed against Wilco.
