Comment:
Wow, these "for-the-hell-of-it" mixes are really becoming more difficult for me to finish with any degree of satisfaction. The first draft of this one was done on 10/5 (the day before I started my new job as a going-away present to leisure time), but after spending a couple of days with it I wasn't happy, so I finished it last night while struggling with the sore throat, cold & cough that I inherited from one of my new co-workers' children. Title from the Tom Waits cut.Feedback:
Very nice. Especially like the opening foursome.
Solid, all the way through, Rob. I'm with the Misfit on the opening four plus I also dig that stretch from Nick Cave to the end. Great mix.
really great, esp the end track
loads of great srtists here, Rob. T-rex, ramones, kinks, EC & Tom Waits are my favs
The end of leisure, but the increase of disposable income. Quite a few items from my current playlist as well (Elvis C. & MOJO's Clash disc have been in heavy rotation). Dig the Aerosmith drop-in, but good stuff all around.
Very cool. Love the Aerosmith (?!) -> Costello especially.
Your first seven tracks are excellent. The rest isn't bad either. Nice mix.
Wow! I love this, Rob!
Love the Fiery Furnaces into Morrissey! The Nick Cave -> end stretch is also really nice - I love it when people put together songs in a sequence that I would never have thought of. Again, apologies for the late comments, but keep up those lovely for-the-hell-of-it mixes - I suppose that you can only rarely get one that's completely satisfying, but still, this looks great.
