Comment:
And the answer to your question is: I don't know WTF. I started to make a mix for Cabell, three songs in decided to stick with women singing, and somehow this happened. I'm convinced there is a special place in hell for those who follow the Spice Girls with Jack Off Jill. Thanks to Blackadder for introducing the JOJ track to me (thus forcing me to buy their albums), and thanks to my friend Grant for the Skulker track, who are Australian. (That's a good thing.) Oh, and the title is from the Waitresses track -- apologies to anyone afraid of Sarah Jessica Parker as a teenager. (Really, her features have evened out considerably.)Feedback:
LOL! Looks like a funny concoction, indeed. But anything featuring Suzi AND Dusty is a surefire winner in my book.
Well done. I like the 19-21 group a lot.
Girls are cool!
Classic. Ms. Space, if you'd do me the honor of acquiring this one, I'd be eternally grateful.
TrTs bonne, all power to les madames!
This is fantastic! I've really been into that Dusty track lately.
lubbly jubbly job. and I think you might be right about that special place in hell. excellent fun.
Love it!!!
This is a wild one!
Hehehe, yes, I do like the idea of that special place! (Apologies again for being late with the comments here!) This is great - I like the fact that you've got a lot of post-punk-type girlies in there (The Gossip, The Raincoats, X-Ray Spex) because they're cool, and the inclusion of Madonna is, well, inspired. Generally it's nice to see mixes from you, Heather - this is another great one!
I'm afraid of Sarah Jessica Parker *now*...
