For the uninitiated...Kevin was in the earliest version of The Soft Machine (1st album only) before embarking on a wine-fuelled solo career with some absolute gems as well as (truth be told) some head-scratching stuff as well.....Stll performs on occasion in the UK & Europe...I find it so wild that guys like this used to be able to stay signed to major label record companies for 10+ years with no huge commercial success,whereas nowadays one bum record & you're outta here,mister....oh well,thats a rant for another time.....
