Comment:
The long-awaited sequel of sorts to Indie Pop For Dummies. Recycling a lot of tracks that have shown up on other mixes I've posted, but culling the catchiest of the catchy, mostly on the recent side. Walking the line between the Elephant 6 and Not Lame stables, all anchored to an unhealthy fixation on the Big B's: Big Star, the Beatles, and the Beach Boys. Eat 'em up, yum!Feedback:
very good - I never think that I'm into Indie Pop, but I love loads of these.
I think I should know more of these bands, because the ones I do know I like a lot.
Very nice mix. The ones I know are tastey
This is really great, Marc. What gobi said.
what I've heard here I really dig so I better check out the rest
I really like this one, Marc. Indie Pop is too often given a bad name. This one shows that it can be quite good.
Really great pop, Marc! Let me know when you're ready to trade. I'd love to hear this.
Great to see The Pearlfishers on a mix, together with another of Scotland's finest -Teenage Fanclub. Oranger & Beulah are also current favs. in the Frenchie household; Wouldn't mind a copy of this too if you're up for it?
I agree with those guys; this does look good. Wanna trade?
Very tasty indeed.
wow. great mix. how does one get a copy of said mix?

This is pretty sweet. I'm loving all your E6 selection plus your Pernice Brothers, The New Pornographers and Oranger picks. Really great mix.
Do you get a free frisbee if you order with a credit card on this CD too? just kidding. I like what I recognize. Great mix.
Feel the power! The only thing that could make this better would be a hidden Sloan track.
Excellent package! If I call now will you throw in a collection of songs sung by VH-1's hunkiest indie pop stars? I got my credit card ready. I'm fans of almost all of these bands, and if I'm not, it probably means I haven't heard them yet.
This is an awesome mix, would def. be up for a trade or something.
Wicked cool.
this is fabulous!
Oustanding Marc. Always good to see Frisbie, Starbelly, and the Orange Humble band make an appearance-anywhere.
This is very cool indeed - actually, after trying to explain indie pop to some friends of mine, I realise that this pretty much says everything I was (badly) trying to explain! I especially liove the stretch from Beaulah to the end (go Teenage Fanclub!!)
I really like this. Fantastic job!
This is awesome. You probably don't know this but your Indie pop for dummies mix was in many ways my introduction to the music that i listen to these days, since i eagerly sought out every CD i could find from that mix and have since become a bonafied indie nerd. In fact, I'm currently a big fan of more than half of these tunes. Nicely done.
Not to mention the fine fine packaging!
thier making this a real thing now...as you've probably heard.
