Great mix, awesome cover, and 127 extra points for Hamell on Trial.
Nice sleeve design. The title is compelling and invites a different take on some of these classic songs. Solid thumbs up for following Beefheart with The Db's, what an interesting change! I bet the Dylan track follows the Thrills track perfectly. Well done.
AMPLIFIER!!!! A most excellent song, and a cool mix.
Fantastic cover, as always! Love the Smiths - Waits segue (lots of people seem to be using a lot of my favourite Waits tracks at the moment, which makes me happy!) Excellent opener too.
I said Smiths, I meant Smith. And by segue, I meant stretch. Just to clarify - sorry! :)
Like this a lot. Loads of good stuff. Got on the Hollywood freeway and headed north...
"do you think I'm psycho mama " lovely picks and the not usual ones,
can you please send an email with your adress or is it the same one?

A rather disconcerting mix, but absolutely great choices, great cover, and great title. A distorted reality indeed!
that dog, no. this mix, yes!
Excellent!
Great stuff up and down. Nice Waits closer.
Hell yeah! Bitchin stuff as usual, Jim. Love seeing that Lee/Nancy track appear on a mix.
Terrific mix! If you would like to trade-let me know.
what a co-inky-dink....I was listening to "Guiding Light" when I hit this page...get outta my mind!
Outcasts and loners - great mix.
Lots of good stuff here. "Northern Line" is one of my fave Opal tunes.
looks very enjoyable - as an aside, I'm amazed how many Nancy Sinatra tracks and versions of 'don't take your guns to town' there are knocking around on AOTM at the mo. Doesn't make this any less commendable, however. Good job.
Torched it.
5 Stars! If you have any interest in trading for my very humble mix of the same title (http://artofthemix.org/findamix/Getcontents.asp?strMixId=71907) let me know!
awesome stuff, Jim. Love the rare Dylan, and the crazy Beefheart track especially.
Fantastic. I love that Tom Waits line (& song), btw.
This is great! is that Mott The Hoople song a Dion cover?
Excellent. Love the Mott the Hoople through Tom Waits ending especially.
Breathless! Holly Golightly! Amplifier! Great art. Torched indeed!
How did I miss this one? Like the stretch 1 -21 Jim. If you care to trade again, place this one top of the pile for me please.
