More from the bottomless treasure trove. No theme this time, just a bunch of tracks I've long wanted to use, including the Satellites' tough reclamation of the painful Ringo track. Opens with a run of solo Beatles covers, of course, including Kate Pierson's version of a Lennon-McCartney-penned hit the Fabs never recorded, and ends with the Brazilian culture minister's rather extended jamming on 'Sgt. Pepper.' For those who find Sonic Youth's take on George's 'Pepper' contribution to be hopelessly obvious, then you (and I) clearly have been hanging around this site too long. A sickening number of themed Beatles covers mixes are on the drawing board right now, don't say I didn't warn you.
