Comment:
Pretty self-explanatory. I broke my rule of only one song per artist per mix...but I had to put both Bad Religion tracks on.Feedback:
I don't think I've ever been more ashamed and embarrassed....ever.
Great mix.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Focus on the Family Action Chairman Dr. James C. Dobson
issued the following statement today, extolling the re-election of President Bush
and the results in 11 states that approved amendments to their constitutions protecting
traditional marriage:
"This election is a resounding victory in the battle for American families. We applaud
the re-election of President Bush, who has shown himself a true champion for the family
and of traditional values. Those who care deeply about the moral issues facing this nation
have cause to be encouraged by the prospect of the Bush administration promoting policies
supportive of the family"

Great mix...Bush bites!!!
*sigh* nice mix, just too bad that you had to make it.
It's funny, the Bush followers wonder why people don't like them. They have 19th century puritanical values in a 21st century world.
They pretend to have have morals because of their christianity, but then they will abuse anyone who is not of their beliefs. g.a.b. l@bs is a good example. He doesn't agree with a mix and so decides to attack the Feedback.
If you want to debate the issues, there are political forums on the internet that will allow you to do that, but if this is the way that you choose to do it, more power to you.

This mix is essential. I feel exactly the same way you do, and I think I am going to download all these songs and make this mix. So thank you.
I included "won't get fooled again" in my anti-Bush mix hoping, believing that he couldn't fool so many again....Never thought I would hate a president more than Nixon.
What is funny about g.a.b. l@bs is that all the musicians and bands he loves all hate Bush too.

Actually what's funny about g.a.b. is that he talks to the artists he mixes (they're all ambient--so their wailing takes the form of waves of synthesized sound--not mindless, verbal speech) about their liberal views and they politely ask him to please not judge them by that and continue purchasing their music or tell him that they really agree with him.but cannot publicly say so lest their comrades shun or ridicule them. I, as the consumer, wield the ultimate power. My mixes also happen to rock.though few here will ever be lucky enough to receive one.
I think if the Democrats are going to get back to being a healthy viable party
they must detach themselves from the Michael Moore's, the Hollywood know-nothings and the far left who are, perceived by many in the U.S. to be anti-American and w-a-y out of touch with mainstream America.

All I have to say about this is that - If you post a political mix - you'd better expect to get some people that disagree w/your point of view. Last count I took - nearly 60 million people disagreed w/my particular political POV, but do I take it personally - hell no! Am I surprised? Yeah, somewhat - but "g.a.b." is absolutely correct - the Democrats are hopelessly out of touch w/mainstream America. That fact was made resoundingly clear on Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
Moan if you must - even cry in your beer a bit - but it is over - George Bush is our President and he deserves our respect. You don't have to, nor should you blindly follow anybody - Republican OR Democrat - I'm not suggesting that, but if you are unhappy w/the way things turned out on Tuesday, then you need to quit moaning and work for whatever changes you feel need to be made.
So enough of this. Time for mixing. Good vibrations to ALL citizens of the world.

Here are the good things about Bush being elected:
1. Terrorists won't attack us. Electing Bush is a far more devastating blow to the US than any terrorist attack could be.
2. The thick-necked, mouth-breathing, SUV-driving, reality TV watching, idiot masses who've voted for him - all 59 million of them - may actually learn before November 2008 what a bunch of thick-necked, mouth-breathing, SUV-driving, reality-TV-watching, idiot masses thay are for putting Bush in office this time.
3. There is a distinct possibility that some of the Bush administration's nefarious dealings during their first term will come to light during the second term.
Me? I'm just consumed with regret that we've let our children down. Imagine if our parents left us with a country that wasn't worth the paper it was printed on...Of course, the class wars won't be much fun, either...
Note to no borders regarding Nixon: At least he had the courtesy to flop sweat when he was lying, unlike Bush, who just paints that phony "how long to I have to keep this here" smile on his face.

You have to earn respect. You don't do that by invading two-bit defenceless countries you've already strangled by years of sanctions, in my book. Terrific mix LP.
Seems to me that Bush has certainly earned someone's respect - about 60 million of them turned up on Tuesday to acknowledge that...
I need to shut up now...mixing time...
Hey just to prove I can laugh @ my candidate President...check this out, it's hilarious:

Bush's Debate Notes
First of all Gene (g.a.b. l@bs) I'm really enjoying the mixes I received from you recently. Great stuff and I hope you dig what I sent you.
Now let's put this election in perspective. I was distraught after voting in my first presidential election in 1972 when Nixon won his second term in a landslide. I voted in the military overseas.
Nixon - 520 - 46,740,323
McGovern - 17 - 28,901,598
Of course he didn't last the term. He went out on his ass because of Watergate. We can always hope Iraq or the hundreds of other potential reasons will dump dubya too.
Reagan won a second term in 1984 that was also a landslide.
Reagan - 525 - 54,455,075
Mondale - 13 - 37,577,185
These were elections where the Democrats got their ass kicked and the Republicans got a mandate.
That didn't happen in 2000.
Bush - 271 - 50,456,002
Gore - 266 - 50,999,897
And yet Bush acted like he had a mandate which contributed to him being the Great Divider. It didn't happen this week either.
Bush - 274 - 59,246,889
Kerry - 252 - 55,710,448
That was a damn close election with the Republicans squeaking by with a win and certainly not a mandate for Bush to do whatever he wants.
And this is a pretty cool mix too.
