Comment:
On British TV I was struck by an interview with 2 U.S. Army vets who said they didn't give a rat's arse about what anyone outside The U.S. thought about either The U.S. or Bush..later during election night there was another interview with 2 College Girls who said they'd been over seas and were deeply ashamed and upset at how The U.S. was perceived because of Bush! As Gobi asked, do you still call yourself the 'United States' when you are so divided! I hope you get through this....I hope we all will!* Thanx To The AOTM King...Curtis Burns.
Feedback:
clever stuff - great build up to the end.
Great Can, Koko, Standells, Otis and Gang of Four picks.
just what Gobi said,
Love the Wailers, Standells, Bush Tetras, etc. Great variety!
Brilliant, Dom! Absolutely brilliant!
great stuff! Love the standells, can, wailers and suns of arqa
very, very great.
Excellent!
Great work. A very Dom take on current events!
Another terrific mix, D. In the States we tend to move on quickly after the elections. Stability is one of our best traits. I wish our reputation among other nations was better-that is one of my biggest concerns with the current administration.
Terrific mix. Love the Zevon, strikes the perfect tone. We're united, but that doesn't mean we all have to think like Bush OR Kerry, that's the beauty of it. As much as some like to deny it, dissent thrives here (in spite of the current administration's attempts to hide it).
A little silver lining to this cloud? Inspired to artistry. Uh... lovely? ...
I've come to expect nothing less than top mixes from you Dom but this is magnifique!
Awesome looking mix, Dom1!
What bear said. I hope we all get through this too! Hmmm, I guess Chicken Little in the illustration below must be the Shrub himself! ;o)
Standell's track is a personal favorite. I hope we will remain united, but after this election, I wouldn't mind if some of those crazy religious fanatics were out of this country.
Excellent -
Viva the Suns of Arqa!!!...and this mix.
Really great. Really REALLY great. Love the Can through Link Wray stretch especially. How did g.a.b. get his mits on George W's diary I'd like to know...
Great srtuff! I love the Standells song and I dig the Bush Tetras/Link Wray combo. And I'll always tip my hat to a Morricone inclusion.-Dale
