So, this was interesting, at least for me. Usually, once I make a mix, I'm done with it (except for the listening). In the case of the last mix I posted, [Clever Title To Follow], I actually treated it as a "first draft" and then came back to it tonight to make a "revised" version, which is this. A couple of songs were deleted (to become the basis for my next mix) and one song, the John Hiatt track, was added. Also, I use this very geeky semi-random method to choose songs when I make mixes, so it was kind of cool to do that for the first version and then to refine it for the finished product. Anyway, ultimately, it's just a bunch of cool songs, with a bluesy, boozy undercurrent running through 'em.
