Volume.1
Comment:
Volumes 1~4 -conceived, planned & executed: 5/5/04~11/17/04This is where mix-making gets dicey (and ugly!)
Four would-be mix-makers meet @ the
World Bar
(swanky ;~]), get a bit blitzed, and propose an impossible project:
Jaheim, Arlo, Naiser & Waldrip, a.k.a. the Foure brothers, think that this piece
of exquisitely mixed crap-ola deserves at least one-and-a-half listens before
you pan it (or toss it, as the case may be)!
"Hah !" you say? What do these bums have to offer the esteemed world of mixing?
Who, exactly do they think they am? The art's shite, the tunes have all appeared
on Top 40 AM Stations, the copy's pure crap and the mixes themselves probably don't actually
exist !!!
Oh well, it's our 1stcollective effort; go easy, eh? Part 1 of, well, 4.
Feedback:
Oh, Biko. Biko, Biko, Biko. I don't see why this should be total crap--Govinda are local boys--they're not bad. This mix might be good to get one's hair done to, for example...
Hmmm...there are several that I know here, but a lot that I don't. I'll bet it sounds pretty cool though, especially track 7.
Welcome aboard!

nice. Like the obtuse patter too! Welcome, friend!
This is looking really fine. There are a few things on here that I don't recognize, but the eclectic streaminess of it is intriguing. Nice work.
Thank you for the comments. Perhaps too much sarcasm was used in
describing the mix. The four of us involved combined several tracks each,
via long distance, & were relatively happy with the final product, it being a first
attempt. We appreciate the feedback.
