ok, so i came up with the track listing for this at two very distinct times when i was in two very distinct moods so that's kind of the reason it is the way it is. i usually try to stay away from same musician in different bands on the same mix but i always do it anyway. i think i subconciously on this mix because i will be seeing the pixies on saturday and i'm ridiculously excited. kim deal is definitley on my list of women i would be a lesbian for because she's a badass motherfucker and is a lot cooler than me. i'm kind of regretting the secret machines song as i go through periods of really enjoying them and then i go through periods of think they are derivative and suck. also, the pulp song at the end is just kind of tacted on but it was a necessary addition because, while les savy fav is a fabulous band, "we'll make a lover out of you" is not the best closer for a mix. title comes from the pixies song.
