There's something about walking around during the winter months that seems a tad lonely. A lot of people don't walk around in the cold, the ones that do are hidden behind hoods and scarves, and with holidays approaching you begin to think of family and friends who aren't with you. That sort of light lonliness inspired this mix, hence the abundance of slow tracks with a small hill of up-tempo in the middle. A lot of these songs are among the most beautiful I've heard this year, especially the Damien Rice and R.E.M. So, put this one on the headphones while you're walking hom one cold night, and remember- never cry over broken bobbles. Cheers! -Famous.
