HA !

What are the odds of this? I click onto the site...and lo & behold, Burns has posted a new
mix on which I am imtimately familiar with each and every tune, OR
I am one of the first to post a comment on a new mix by Curtis Burns, on which I am familiar
with over one half of the listed songs, OR
Here's a new mix by Burns from which I sing @ least a third of the songs in the shower each
morning, OR
I don't know a freaking thing on here, but have heard of artists 2, 9, 12 & 13

(. . . go figure)

Yes, where I live, most of these have gotten quite a bit of radio play, and yesterday I heard a hamburger commercial featuring the Keith Tippett Trio. ;-)

I am not only familiar with all of these bands, but I have actually performed on stage with each and every one of them.

Looks cool, as ever. Dig the CabVol, Moondog and S&F especially.

Excellent, as ever! Love the Cabaret Voltaire -> Mingus stretch - again, quite a few things I'm not familiar with, but it's good to be edjumacated.

What g.a.b. said. I'm having a lot of fun making up what each of these bands/songs sounds like. I can't believe someone actually wrote a song about Rosie Ruiz - does Grubbs get to the verse 4 without having performed verses 1-3?

Moondog & Mingus & I used to have some great times together, but if these other guys were at those same parties, I've blanked it out . . . I guess they're all partying together now, though --
