There's too many people planning your downfall

Artist Song
Morrissey  The Teachers Are Afraid of the Pupils
The Fall  The Classical
The Germs  Communist Eyes
The Rolling Stones  Backstreet Girl
The Who  5:15
The Blue Nile  Easter Parade
The Doors  The Crystal Ship
The Pogues  Summer in Siam
Kraftwerk  Europe Endless
Willie Nelson  Shotgun Willie
Elvis Presley  Little Sister
Garnett Mimms  Cry Baby
Frank Zappa  Cosmik Debris
The Fiery Furnaces  I'm Gonna Run
The MC5  Skunk (Sonically Speaking)
Roy Harper  I Hate the White Man
Leonard Cohen  Hey, That's No Way to Say Goodbye

Comment:

For the hell of it. And it has nothing to do with Christmas. The odd thing about this one is that I don't even especially *like* "5:15" or "Cosmik Debris" (although I don't dislike them, either), but each was in my head over the past week; in fact, all of these songs have been in my head at one time or another recently, hence their inclusion. Title from the first line of the Morrissey song.

Rockin' good stuff, Rob. The Who & Zappa picks are fine by me. It's the Doors that I find questionable, but some Germs & Fall more than make up for that. Hope you're well & having a happy holiday.

Really nice Rob. I love the mid-section, 7-11, and the Furnaces.

Yeah, I like the Doors as a band less than I like Zappa and waaaaaaaay less than I like the Who (who, in their earlier years, are one of my few favorite bands). I do, however, like the Doors song on this mix better than those two songs.

Yeah, Morrissey kicking it all off: that's what we like to see! Looks great, Rob - I love your "for the hell of it" mixes - and I especially like 1-9 and 14 here.
