Comment:

My brother got a CD burner for Christmas so this is my Christmas Break Opus. It's still semi-in-progress because I still have songs to download (damn 56K connection!) But it's an attempt at collecting covers done of songs I love, covered by people I love. I tried not to be too obvious or too obscure... and I had to *like* the cover for its own sake--not just because it was a cover.

Cool mix... I am going to try to fidn that REM cover of CCR as soon as possible. By the way, "Wish You Were Here" is actually a band called Sparklehorse-- Thom Yorke (Radiohead) recorded backup vox for it over the phone. :)

yeah, i figured out the sparklehorse/radiohead thing after the cd was burned. i knew that radiohead had something to do with the cover, and it was poorly labled on napster.
thanks for your comments!

What a great mix! I think you have me beat. A trade's definitely in order.
