Comment:

A healthy dose of short, sweet punches from a criminally overlooked power pop outfit. Their '98 debut, Life On Planet Earsnot, was the best approximation of pre-Rubber Soul Beatles ever produced by an American band, an essential collection of 2-minute, 3-chord British Invasion-styled joy. Their 4 subsequent albums may have a bit less magic, but offer plenty of quality sounds for fans of popmeisters from Badfinger through Matthew Sweet.

Never heard of them, but I trust your judgement. Always great to see lesser known bands get the "single artist" treatment.

This lot appeared on a mix I was sent recently, and I liked them a lot, so it's cool to see them acknowledged on an entire SA mix. I'll definitely have to check them out more.
