Comment:
Not many albums to work with, but fuck it--he is a master of his art.Feedback:
Cool. But no "Roots Rock Weirdoes"? That's one of my favorites.
Great! All-time fave: "God isn't real", hands down. Can't imagine why that wasn't a big hit...
Excellent selections! I especially like "I Push Right Over" and "That Bangle Girl."
Afraid I've never heard of him!
Sometimes I need to see a best of comp like this to remind me of how much I love an artist. Masterful indeed & I'll second Mo & Sean's call for the missing picks.
Forgot to add my own missing fave - White Man's Bourbon!
A great songwriter, & a pretty good performer to boot - like Sean, I just can't understand why he's not topping the charts -
Damn I love me some Robbie Fulks. A great tribute to a kickass songster.
For purely personal reasons (i.e., it doesn't make this mix any less perfect) I'm missing "You Wouldn't Do That To Me." Generally songs that sentimental make me want to shoot my stereo, but Robbie hits it right on.
