Whoa, we share exactly four bands in our 2004 best-of, but still, your mix looks exceptionally cool. 2004 was a pretty alright year for music. Oh, and, we both picked the same Animal Collective tracks.

This looks fantastic. Your Elvis, Libertines, Nick Cave & MoB picks were all my *second* choices from those respective albums, and I see that we chose the same Tom Waits track. I'm dying to hear the Futureheads, but have heard enough mixed reviews to prevent me from actually purchasing it yet. And I'm definitely interested in that Rocket from the Tomb(s?) record--it's been on the short list of things to get for quite awhile now. Beautiful mix.

2004 def' had its share of kickin' releases, some of them hipped to me by you, e.g., the Ponys, (damn, they rock like mustangs!). Also love the Secret Machines, the Fall, and the Reigning Sound! The Futureheads is a slow-grower on me, I bought because I heard at a record store and the track stopped me....doesn't do it when I hear it now....

Yes, this does look fine. Wish I could comment more, but I think I bought about three CDs that were released this year, and none of them are represented here unfortunately. Love the cover, but you might want to adjust the color on your monitor. The president's looking a bit peckish
